Plasmas in contact with liquids have been extensively investigated for many applications ranging from environmental remediation to material science and medicine. Many reports showed the significant contribution of short-lived reactive species in the liquid phase, while the species are too short-lived to be measured. In this study, we developed a novel method to measure OH concentration with much higher temporal resolution (~ 0.1 ms) by introducing high-speed liquid flow (~ 10 m/s) into atmospheric-pressure plasma. In addition, we built a reaction-diffusion model showing a time-space distribution, which is consistent with the measured OH decay.
