[14p-PB4-13] Measurement of Time-Space Distribution of OH Radical in High-speed Liquid Flow Passing through Atmospheric-pressure Plasma
Keywords:Atmospheric-pressure Plasma, Plasma-liquid interface, OH radical
Plasmas in contact with liquids have been extensively investigated for many applications ranging from environmental remediation to material science and medicine. Many reports showed the significant contribution of short-lived reactive species in the liquid phase, while the species are too short-lived to be measured. In this study, we developed a novel method to measure •OH concentration with much higher temporal resolution (~ 0.1 ms) by introducing high-speed liquid flow (~ 10 m/s) into atmospheric-pressure plasma. In addition, we built a reaction-diffusion model showing a time-space distribution, which is consistent with the measured •OH decay.
