[14p-PB4-3] Sterilization capability of ethylene oxide plasma sterilization method

Ethylene oxide gas sterilization is a sterilization method for materials that do not have heat resistance. This sterilization method achieves sterilization by bringing ethylene oxide into contact with an object under high pressure environment. However, ethylene oxide is toxic. If ethylene oxide gas sterilization becomes possible under low pressure, the amount of ethylene oxide gas used can be massively reduced, and the risk can be reduced. In this study, the sterilization performance was evaluated using ethylene oxide plasmatized under low pressure.
