[14p-PB4-6] Effect of plasma discharge on lipid accumulation ability of Lipomyces yeast

Lipomyces yeast is an obligate aerobic bacterium that is expected to produce fuel oil by "fermentation" because it produces fat globules in its cells. We suspended this Lipomyces yeast in distilled water, treated it with plasma, and then transferred it to 1 / 2YM medium and cultured it, thereby confirming a higher lipid accumulation capacity than the control.
