[15a-B410-4] Optically- and Chemically- Controlled Bandgap Modification of Lead Halide Perovskite Crystals
Keywords:Perovskite, Focused laser, Laser trapping
Organic-inorganic lead halide perovskites attract considerable interest due to the enormous potential for the development of highly efficient optoelectronic devices such as solar cells, lasers, light-emitting diodes, and photodetectors. Optical and electronic properties of perovskite crystals can be modified by tuning their bandgaps. Halide exchange reaction is a post-synthesis approach for the bandgap modification. In general, the exchange reaction is induced by exposing perovskite crystals to the solution containing reactant halide ions, and the bandgap is homogeneously varied in the whole crystal. Here, we demonstrate the control of halide exchange reaction with optical and chemical approaches, which are based on optical manipulation and filling of halogen vacancies, respectively.
