[15a-D305-2] Viscoelasticity Measurements of Biomolecules by Peak Tracking Scanning Thermal Noise Microscopy
Keywords:subsurface, nondestructive, AFM
Recently, techniques for visualizing subsurface structures using an atomic force microscopy have gained attention and previous research have revealed that there is a strong correlation between subsurface structures and surface contact elasticity. In this study, we observed the internal structure of ferritin and apoferritin, which are responsible for iron transport in vivo by using a peak-tracking scanning thermal noise microscopy that can measure the resonance frequency of the cantilever in real time from the thermal vibration signal of the cantilever.
