In recent years, a method using magnetic field and magnetic nanoparticles has attracted attention as a method to identify the location of thoracic lymph nodes. It is nessesary to identify the location of them in order to perform sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB). SLNB is a biopsy to determine whether breast cancer has metastasized or not. SLN is the lymph which cancer cells first reach. After magnetic nanoparticles are injected near the brea st cancer, they flow into SLN using the lymph flow. We tried to detect magnetic nanoparticles in SLN by using pulsed magnetic field. Large magnetic field was produced by using it and magnetic nanoparticles inside the body were magnetized. Resovist® (Fuji Film Co.) including superparamagnetic particles was used in this study. Sensors could catch the signal of Resovist®. Search coils and hall elements were used as sensors. We researched the most suitable sensor to detect Resovist® in deep position.
