Ultralight materials with excellent properties are being studied for their potential application in electrode materials and filters. Most superelastic ultralight materials cannot utilize the functionality of the raw materials because the entire material is carbonized. In this study, a carbon nanotube and carboxymethylcellulose were used to fabricate superelastic ultralight material of less than 5 mg / cm3 without carbonization. We also clarified the relationship between the mechanical properties and the skeletal structure.
