We successfully prepared lead bromide-based layered perovskite quantum-well films having anthracene-linked ammonium molecules as an organic layer. Unique emission which is not assigned to exciton emission in the inorganic layer and also to emission from the anthracene chromophore was observed in the films. We are now studying the origin of emission in quantum well films.
