We report as single layer and thin optical filter with selectively single sided circular polarized light absorption using metal nano chiral structures. In order to achieve a single layer selectively single sided circular polarized light absorption in visible light region, we use a metal nano chiral structure having strong circular dichroism in visible region. We design metal nano chiral structure’s impedance to match that of free space and accomplish efficient absorption without reflecting light. Single sided circularly polarized light absorption is reached by a combination of circular dichroism and impedance matching.
