Recently, in various fields such as industry, agriculture, and health care, on-site analysis of trace volatile organic compounds has been required. Gas chromatography (GC) is effective for such analysis, however, commercially GC is large and difficult to adapt. On the other hand, we have developed a portable ball SAW GC by using Ball SAW Sensor with multiple roundtrip of SAW on a spherical piezoelectric element crystal. In this study, we report an to separate and detect ppbv level mixed gas by developing a concentrator.
