Many three-dimensional shape measurement methods have a problem that it is difficult to measure large steps and/or deep holes due to the occlusion. The focus method, which is coaxial between the projection system and the photographing system, is effective for this problem, but There was a problem if snapshot measurement was not possible. Therefore, we have proposed a three-dimensional shape measurement method using a spatially changing polarization pattern and a coaxial optical system using a polarization camera. By using a color-polarized camera and axial chromatic aberration, our system is possible to expand the dynamic range. We report the measurement principle and measurement results.
