[10a-N107-3] A Mode-locked Yb Fiber Laser with Low Intensity Noise and Wavelength Tunability

We demonstrate a picosecond mode-locked Yb fiber laser generating low-noise pulses with a wavelength tunability from 1020.4 nm to 1038.8 nm. The wavelength is tuned by compressing the intracavity chirped fiber Bragg grating. The relative intensity noise is smaller than –159.2 dB/Hz within the tunablity of 18 nm.
