[10a-N207-5] Nanoscale shape and physical properties analysis for biocompatible sugar-chain polymer in liquid by AFM
Keywords:AFM, polymer, suger-chain
There are many unclear points about the mechanism of biocompatibility, and it has been studied in various fields. The sugar-chain polymer PVLA used in this study has been applied to cell culture and DDS, and also has antithrombotic properties. Therefore, we aimed to analyze the relationship between surface structure and function by AFM. Since PVLA is amphipathic, it forms a micellar structure in aqueous solution. In AFM, a structure that seems to be a hydrated sugar-chain was observed. Furthermore, we report the results of examining the interface using FM-AFM.
