[10a-N403-6] Ferroelectric photovoltaic tensor in visible-light-active Fe-doped BaTiO3 single crystals

This paper reports the hv dependence of the bulk photovoltaic tensor elements beta_33 and beta_31 of Fe-doped BaTiO3 single crystals. The reduced sample in the Fe2+- and Fe3+-coexisting state exhibits the elements over one order of magnitude higher than those of the oxidized one in the Fe3+ state. The reduced sample has a relation of |beta_31| > |beta_33| at hv above 2.8 eV, which originates from the dominant charge transfer from oxygen atoms to Fe3+ whose transfer vector is normal to Ps.
