▲ [10a-N405-5] Modeling of Surface Grating-loaded VCSEL with Slowing Light

A surface grating loaded VCSEL structure is proposed and the modeling of slow-wave propagation is carried out. The narrow stop band in the grating-loaded VCSEL is presented thanks to large slow-wave dispersion. The numerical results on mode selectivity, threshold gain, and coupling constant are given for single-mode long-cavity grating-loaded VCSEL.
