[10a-S203-3] Manifold magnetic phase diagram in PrO epitaxial thin films

Precise control of thin film synthesis conditions was performed using a pulsed laser deposition, PrO epitaxial thin films with various carrier densities and film thicknesses were obtained. We evaluated their electrical and magnetic properties. In the PrO epitaxial thin films, where weak ferromagnetism and Kondo effect compete, it is considered that the magnitude of the RKKY interaction via itinerant electron can be controlled by changing the carrier density and film thickness. In this study, the magnitude of the RKKY interaction and the Kondo effect was changed relatively in the PrO epitaxial thin films, and a manifold magnetic phase diagram was found.
