[10a-S302-1] Magnetic property modification of LuIG caused by ion beam irradiation

We studied magnetization modification by swift ion-beam irradiation on bismuth-doped lutetium-iron garnet thin films. Magnetization decreasing and coercivity increasing are observed in 300 MeV gold-ion irradiated samples. We will report the measurement results and micro-magnetic simulations to reveal the mechanism of these irradiation effects.
