We succeeded in measuring dynamic interfacial tension with the high time resolution. A droplet shape floating on a liquid surface is determined by the balance of surface and interfacial tension of the droplet and the liquid surface. In order to measuring dynamic surface tension, we employed stroboscopic method to observe variation of the microdroplet shape with the high time resolution. In this experiment, we used surfactant aqueous solution as the surface liquid and incompatible liquid as the droplet. It was confirmed that the interfacial tension dynamically decreased over several milli-second and became a static value.
