△ [10p-N104-16] Investigation of carrier selective contact solar cells using two dimensional materials
Keywords:solar cells, carrier selective contact, two dimensional materials
We investigated the possibility of two dimensional materials as a carrier selective layer for the c-Si solar cells. Especially, we focused on MoS2, which has been reported many times as a two dimensional material. The MoSx in this study was deposited by RF magnetron sputtering with a composition ratio of Mo:S=1:1.72. We evaluated the band bending at the MoSx/c-Si interface using HAXPES, resulting in the c-Si band was bent downward. This result indicates that MoSx is likely to work as an electronic contact in the carrier selective layer.
