By simultaneously measuring the intensity and phase of light, it is possible to analyze the interaction between light and the sample, such as the refractive index and thickness, and to improve the functionality of the optical microscope. This time, we improved the phase stability of a transmission-arranged optical comb microscope that can simultaneously acquire spectral information on the intensity and phase of light using an optical comb as a light source. As a result, it was clarified that it is possible to construct an optical system with high phase stability and simultaneously measure information derived from the transmittance (amplitude image) and the refractive index (phase image).
