[10p-N201-2] Insight into phenomena of scattering in imaging and quantitative analysis

Toshiaki Iwai1 (1.Tokyo Univ. of Agri. & Tech.)

Keywords:scattering, absorption, spectroscopic optical coherence tomography

Scattering measurement is conducted as an inverse source problem of a passive phenomenon on the basis of scattering and absorption in a sample. Spectroscopic optical coherence tomography enables to analyze quantitatively the scattering phenomenon and, moreover, to gain comprehensive insight into it. It is represented as the example that the evaporation process of water inside the compressed dry-leaves sheet can be phenomenologically understood by numerical analysis of images obtained with dual-wavelength spectral-domain OCT in the infrared region.
