[10p-N204-4] Excitation process of surface plasmon and anomalous enhancement under RHEED condition

In order to systematically analyze the surface plasmon excitation process including the off-Bragg condition, we measured the energy loss spectrum by precisely controlling the glancing angle of the incident electron beam, and obtained the mean number of surface plasmon excitation by spectral decomposition assuming a Poisson distribution. As a result, we found that an anomalous enhancement of the mean number of surface plasmon excitation, which has not been reported before, occurs at specific glancing angles.
