[10p-N307-14] Evaluation of X-ray spectroscopic performance in large-area CMOS image sensors

We are developing X-ray imaging spectrometer, aiming to be an instrument onboard a space mission, using CMOS image sensor for optical use. In this study, we evaluated the room temperature spectroscopic performance using a large-area CMOS image sensor, GSENSE6060BSI. As a results, we obtained the energy resolution of 157±3eV at 5.9keV, which is as good as that of cooled X-ray CCDs used in X-ray Astronomical space mission.
