Inductors are one of the most vital electronic components in today's technology. Its working principle, however, has been essentially the same ever since its earliest inventions in 19th century. Recently, an inductance of spin exchange coupling origin was predicted and experimentally demonstrate to arise in a spiral magnet, breaking a hurdle for manufacturing small-size inductors with a large enough effect. We now propose an inductance of spin-orbit coupling origin, which can be generated with a spatially uniform magnetization dynamics, appears in both the longitudinal and transverse (Hall) directions with respect to the applied electric current, and has technological advantages over the inductance of exchange coupling origin in terms of operating frequency and material design.
