[10p-S401-10] Switching of perfect electric / magnetic mirror in cylindrical dielectric metasurface
Keywords:metasurface
Conventional metallic mirrors, called electric mirrors, have the property of inverting the electric field phase of the reflected light. In contrast, magnetic mirrors invert the magnetic field phase of the reflected light. In this presentation, we report the design of a metasurface combining a silicon Mie resonator and vanadium dioxide (VO2), a well-known phase change material, and the realization of switching between electric and magnetic mirrors at a single wavelength by controlling the electric field phase of the reflected light.
