We report the development of a skin energizing patch that is highly flexible and adaptable to curved skin. An enzymatic biofuel cell is used as the driving source, which is quickly activated by supplying water. The conventional skin patch has a problem of long-term use due to evaporation of water from the oxygen supply window on the cathode. In this study, the stable power generation for a long time was achieved by covering an oxygen-permeable thin film onto the cathode to reduce that evaporation.
