[11a-N202-3] Conical HOE for the Enlargement of the Viewing Zone of Holographic 3D Display

Our group has been researching a holographic 3D display with a convex parabolic mirror for the enlargement of the viewing zone. However, this approach can not realize a superimposition display with a real-existing object because the 3D object is reconstructed inside the parabolic mirror made of a metal as a virtual image. In this study, a new method with a conical holographic optical element instead of the parabolic mirror is reported.
