In recent years, single-crystal lead halide perovskite has gained attention as a new generation room temperature radiation detector due to its superior characteristics and simple growth method. The growth of high-quality large bulk crystals with good detection ability has been challenging. In this study, the growth and characterization of methylammonium lead iodide (CH3NH3PbI3) single crystal for X-ray detector application has been reported.
