酸化ハフニウム・ナノ粒子に続いて、酸化ビスマス・ナノ粒子を高濃度に添加したプラスチックシンチレータ（PLS）を採用し、ガイガーモードで動作するシリコン・アバランシェフォトダイオード（MPPC）を受光素子とするシンチレーション検出器を開発中である。波高分布、時間スペクトルなど入射X線エネルギー73.0keVでの結果を報告する。
