[11a-S203-7] Topological charge of light given by chiral metal structures on focusing optics

At the previous meeting, we reported the possibility to observe an optical vortex in the two-layer metal mesh structures without any deformation placed within focusing optics. For such structures, a circular polarized crossed Nicol arrangement of optics is necessary to provide corresponding phase distribution due to geometric phase. In presenting work, we will propose a chiral structure consists of orthogonally overlapped metal rod pair. We will show our numerical results of optical vortex observation when such structure is arranged on focusing optics and a usual linear polarized crossed Nicol measurement is performed.
