[11p-N101-8] Toward Elucidation and Further Exploration of Optical Properties

In this symposium, we will introduce our efforts to expand the research on nitride semiconductors pioneered by Professor Isamu Akasaki to the fabrication of three-dimensional semiconductor structures and the control of their physical properties. Specifically, we will discuss research trends and future prospects for the realization of highly efficient luminescence through polarization control and plasmonics effects, and the development of new functional devices (luminescence synthesizers) by synthesizing spectra of arbitrary wavelengths.
