[12a-N103-4] Numerical analysis of the effects of higher-order modes and losses

Waveguide-based optical parametric amplification is crucial in pulsed squeezing. However, the higher-order modes in the pump light are expected to generate noise through the OPA of the fundamental and higher-order modes. In addition, losses in the waveguide are also expected to deteriorate the squeezing level. In this study, the effects of these factors are clarified by numerical analysis.
