Muon spin rotation experiments were carried out to investigate the difference in hydrogen impurity states between germanium sulfide (GeS) and germanium telluride (GeTe). The obtained time spectra show that the formation of pseudo-hydrogen atoms, muonium, is dominant in GeS, while it is not dominant in GeTe. In this talk, we will discuss the details of the obtained pseudo-hydrogen atom states such as activation energy and hyperfine coupling frequency.
