△ [12a-N207-3] Enhancement of carrier transfer properties by the introduction of thiophene rings into Subphthalocyanine
Keywords:organic semiconductor, organic photovoltaics, organic molecules
Subphthalocyanine (SubPc) is a π-conjugated compound with a non-planar structure, which provides excellent carrier mobility. In order to further improve the carrier mobility, we have introduced a thiophene ring into the SubPc framework.
The carrier mobility was evaluated from the current-voltage characteristics, and the carrier mobility was improved by about 1.7 times after the introduction of thiophene rings. It is suggested that electron transfer occurs via sulfur, which has a large atomic radius.
