Keywords:Hall effect of light

The spin Hall effect of light is a phenomenon in which the direction of light is bent by the anomalous velocity due to Berry curvature. This shift is very small and difficult to observe, but it has been pointed out that this shift can be increased by using the huge Berry curvature near the K point of valley photonic crystals. So far, however, there are only theoretical prediction in idealized photonic crystals and no observational studies. Therefore, we calculated whether this shift can be observed in a realistic air-hole slab-type valley photonic crystals.
