We have studied a low-noise amplifier using superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) mixers as frequency up and down conveters. This amplifier configures two SIS mixers by cascade connection, and identical local oscillator power is applied to them so that the input and output frequencies are the same. This configuration can have positive gain at microwave frequencies because of frequency conversion gain of the SIS mixers. This time, we will present the latest result for the reasonable low-noise and wideband SIS amplifier with a millimeter-wave isolator between the up and down converters.
