Perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) have attracted attentions as a phosphor for next generation optoelectric devices such as light-emitting diodes, solar cells, and color conversion filters, due to their excellent optical properties. Although, their practical applications are hindered because of their instability which is attributed to detachments of their surface ligands. In this work, novel cross-linkable ligands were synthesized for the purpose of preventing ligand desorption from PeQDs surface. After that, we prepared PeQDs with highly luminesces by ligand assisted reprecipitation. After preparation of thin films using the PeQDs, the film was irradiated with UV light in a glove box to cross-linking of the surface ligands. As a result, its surface was well hydrophobized and the stability of PeQDs was successfully improved against polar solvents.
