Spin-active color centers attract attention as a promising platform for quantum information and quantum sensing applications. One of the key challenges for color centers is understanding spin-optical dynamics and the relevant rates including radiative and nonradiative intersystem crossing rates. In this study, we propose an advanced approach for spin-dependent intersystem crossing rates utilizing sub-lifetime laser pulses.
