[12a-S301-8] NV Center Formation into Nano-diamond by High Temperature Electron Irradiation

In order to form fluorescent nanodiamonds (FNDs) containing NV centers with higher brightness and concentration, we are aiming to form FNDs with high luminescence intensity by electron beam irradiation for efficient NV center formation. We have been optimizing the electron irradiation and heat treatment conditions, and in this report, we investigate the luminescence intensity of FNDs formed by different irradiation modes (high temperature and room temperature).
The results show that high temperature irradiation is superior to room temperature irradiation for the formation of FNDs with high luminescence intensity.
