In this research, we evaluated superconducting nanowire single photon detectors, which are fabricated using NbTiN as superconducting nanowire materials for mid-infrared wavelengths. As a result, we confirmed mid-infrared single photon detection. Recently, quantum technologies utilizing photons at mid-infrared wavelengths have become interesting topics. This research makes such technologies more developed through the capability of mid-infrared quantum light sources evaluation and high detection sensitivity.
