In our laboratory, we have succeeded in patterning conductive materials in our toner-type printing process. However, further high-definition and sufficient toner deposition are required for practical electronics applications. In this research, we use a novel developer that looks like a magnetic powder by mixing many Ni nanoparticles with Ag nanoparticles. It is expected that the average size of the Ag particles is kept small by inhibiting the self-aggregation of Ag particles. As a result, it was possible to draw high-definition interdigital electrodes.
