[12p-N307-1] Porphyrin Supramolecular Structure for Controlling Molecular Orientation in a Thin Film
Keywords:MOF, pMAIRS, 2D-GIXD
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are promising for various thin-film devices such as organic photovoltaics (OPV) and gas sensors. In this study, the MOF structure of tetrapyridylporphyrin is controlled in a thin film by choosing the porphyrin center metal atom that forms the coordination bonds with the pyridyl ring. The pMAIRS and GIXD measurements reveal that when the center metal atom is Fe2+, the MOF structure is formed and the porphyrin rings have the edge-on orientation, which is a rare arrangement for porphyrin derivatives.
