In the study of organic photovoltaic cells, the circuit parameters of the equivalent circuit model are often extracted from the current-voltage characteristic curve. Identification is generally performed using curve fitting by the nonlinear least-squares method, but it has the following drawbacks.
(1) The estimated value strongly depends on the initial value given to the program.
(2) Only "point estimation" that gives a specific value for each parameter can be performed, and estimation errors cannot be obtained.
Here, we report that it is possible to extract the parameters of the equivalent circuit model without the above-mentioned drawbacks by using the Bayesian estimation method.
