[12p-N404-14] Study of phase determination algorithm in single-shot phase detection method using inter-pixel crosstalk

Recently, we have proposed a simple and stable phase detection method for holographic data storage systems. The phase information is retrieved from intensities at pixel boundaries where inter-pixel crosstalk occurs owing to the spatial filtering in the Fourier plane of the input image. In this presentation, we report on an iterative phase determination algorithm considering the influence of distant pixels. This new algorithm can significantly reduce phase detection errors compared to the conventional method.
