We demonstrate the convenient integration of spintronic heterostructures on curved rigid substrates by employing magnetron sputtering to deposit ultrathin films of Pt and Fe on a plano-convex lens. Investigation of the THz emission properties of the convex type STE show an easy-to-use THz source alternative with the advantage of a focused THz beam output, which opens up possibilities for optimizing the footprint of THz-based setups.
