There is an increasing demand for the development of detectors with high detection efficiency and high-speed response in high-count measurement of high-energy radiation in synchrotron radiation facilities. Although plastic scintillators (PS) have been studied for a long time, the problem of insufficient detection efficiency remains unsolved. In this study, PS with Bi2O3 nanoparticles added was produced to optimize the nanoparticle concentration. We aimed to develop a PS that has both a large amount of light emission and high detection efficiency.
