△ [12p-S401-7] Elucidation of mechanism of photochromism in poly(heptazine imide) by direct observation of the surface
Keywords:carbon nitride, ionic liquid, photochromism
Poly(heptazine imide) is a photocatalyst that shows activity in response to visible light, and is also capable of showing catalytic activity in dark state. In addition, it is known to be a photochromic material that shows catalytic activity in the dark state, but also exhibits color change in the light-irradiated area. Since the photocatalytic reaction takes place on the surface of the material, in this study, we focused on the surface morphology of the sample and conducted AFM and SEM/EDX measurements. Using these results, the mechanism of photochromism in PHI will be discussed.
