Optical microresonators can be used for signal processing in the optical frequency domain for terahertz wave generation, for which there are few high-performance filters. In this paper, we report the basic evaluation of a Vernier filter placed at the back end of an resonator for microcomb generation to generate a two-tone signal from the comb. The fundamental mode soliton comb was generated from a SiN ring resonator (FSR: 300 GHz) and the second-order aluminum heater-loaded filter (FSR: 287 GHz) was used to extract the single longitudinal mode.
