[13a-N405-5] Reversible magnon control in magnon thermal conductive La5Ca9Cu24O41 single crystal using an ionic liquid
Keywords:thermal management materials
We are developing novel thermal management materials for electrical control of heat flow using La5Ca9Cu24O41 (LCCO), which exhibits anisotropic high thermal conductivity derived from magnons. In our previous study, we investigated the voltage response of randomly or (0k0)-oriented LCCO polycrystalline films coated with ionic liquids, and found that the magnon response strongly depends on the orientation of the films. In this study, we investigate the voltage response of LCCO single crystal ab, bc, and ca surfaces coated with ionic liquids to clarify the origin of the magnon response.
